A couple weeks back I covered a wedding reception for the Cullen's family.  It was a fun night with a great group of people.  The actual wedding was held in Houston, but the reception was held for the folks who couldn't make it to the ceremony. The reception was beautiful; it was held at Marina Village, which is close to the Hyatt Islandia in Mission Beach.  It overlooked part of the marina at Mission Bay and allowed everyone to enjoy a perfect sunset.

The weather couldn't have been better; it was 75 degrees and sunny before dusk, cooling off to around 65 degrees after sunset.  It was a tropical-themed night with palm leaves, orchids and leis adorning the place settings. There were some really great moments during the reception, here are a few of my favorites.

The reception was a hit and I think everyone had a great time, including me!  Just another day in the life of a San Diego photographer.
