San Diego Photographer

On August 29th, alumni from the Big 12 conference met at Salt Creek Golf Course. There were 61 players of all skill levels; flags were raised, rival colors were worn and the game was on.

Months of planning went into it, but the result of this tournament was nothing short of amazing. It was a great day; the weather was hot, the sky was blue and the beers were cold. Everybody was having fun, and some shots were so great that they required a little happy-dance...

And then there were some shots that didn't really play out, which made for an unhappy dance...

There were some excellent drives...

Which often caused more happy dances...

To all the alumni reading this, I want to say thank you...thank you for putting up with the sound of my camera shutter and the sight of me laying down on your putting greens. I'm confident that any bad shots you may have had were unequivocally caused by me... but I promise, it was not an attempt of sabotage by a Colorado Buff. :)

Most of all, I want to thank you for coming out and making it a great day. Travis Fawcett, Grant Wingate, myself and the leaders of the Big 12 Alumni chapters worked hard get everything set up for this and I think it was a smashing success. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves, let's try to make the next one even better!
